Can i cook frozen burgers in a fat fryer??

I was in a chip shop the other day and my partner ordered a burger from there. It seemed like it was ready in 2 mins.. im sure the lady behind the counter just put it in the fryer. I now have burgers for dinner tonight.. could i do this in my fat fryer,, and dab off the access grease ( i normally do this when i grill them). Thanks in advanceCan i cook frozen burgers in a fat fryer??
Hi yep you can, they probably will take a little longer than 2 mins but no longer than 5 mins at the most, you will be able to tell if they are cooked or not. it wont be very healthy but they will be done quicker and taste lovely lol
NO WAY! There will be a lot of water in the frozen burger and as you know oil and water don't mix. You will get a lot of splattering and may even cause the pan to overflow and catch fire. Maybe the lady at the f/c shop had already cooked it and just warmed it through in the fat/oil. Grill or fry is the best. Can i cook frozen burgers in a fat fryer??
I knew someone who did this...and they were really really obese. You CAN do this, but I advise you not to because it is super unhealthy. (the grease gets in the burger, not just on the surface)
You would be better defrosting the burgers before cooking either by using a microwave or by leaving "ambient" for about 20mins. Under NO circumstances would I deep fry burgers - much better grilled or pan friedCan i cook frozen burgers in a fat fryer??
Hamburgers are greasy enough without cooking them in all that oil. I wouldn't recommend it.
Yes, as long as they are cooked trough this is fine. my friend does it all the time and she is still here lol. i havent tried one so cant comment on the taste
Much nicer grilled, and healthier. Can fo a little tough when fried,
