New ideas for a fast food restaurant menu?

I recently bought an ice cream shop and have decided to add food to the menu. Im looking for new ideas, something different than the same old burger and hot dog. I want to keep it simple, like one or two major items. My best thought has been philly cheese steak and philly chicken sandwiches - (of course fries, onion rings, and tons of toppings) any other ideas like this?New ideas for a fast food restaurant menu?
Cotton Candy, Pretzels (huge ones), Gourmet Jelly Beans, Gummy candy.

Fried Egg sandwiches. Fried Egg/Pickel sandwiches for the pregnant ladies. Toast. Chili bean free or meat free or combo it.

Keep it Short/Simple. (kiss)

Less inventory to be bothered with. ie Expiration dates. Low cost.
How about BBQ sandwiches with pickle and onion served up with the fritos and a coke--3bucks?

chili dogs with cheese

How about a grilled vegetarian sandwich?

By the way, if you make your sandwiches well without trying to cut corners with cheaper ingredients, you will find people are willing to pay the price and come back for more. But once you get a reputation for crappy sandwiches, it's almost impossible to get a good one back again.
you could put garlic bread on your menu or chicken wings also

hot dogs or baked potato
hot winqs.
Maybe you can put a music box in the restaurant to the inside.Maybe start a dance off.
How about breaded pork loin sandwiches? Assuming you have a fryer. You can do a bunch of things with breaded pork loins. I made the regular kind with ketchup, mustard, dill pickle slices, sliced onion, maybe mayo, on a bun. You could offer the option of a slice of cheese on top, or with a piece of green leaf lettuce. You could dip them in BBQ sauce. And always with a dill pickle spear on the side.

They were very popular at my old restaurant.
There used to be this BBQ place here in St.Louis that served these big bbq burger and they would put this really creamy potato salad on top of the burger,it was awesome!
have a survey from people who come to your store
I like the idea of the philly, and maybe 2 other sandwiches, like a Italian and a Pastrami/Corned Beef w/mustard or sauerkraut. Use good meats and cheeses and bread, push to go orders, something to order other than pizza. Need any menus designed? http://www.designrestaurantmenus.com (under construction)
I like the old time soda fountain idea/themes. You could do regular burger fries and cokes, but add some sort of twist to them. Such as cherry coke, vanilla coke, malts and sundaes. Cheeseburgers the size of horseshoes maybe with a gravy sauce or fries that are shoestring. YUM
chicken fingers witha variety of dipping sauces, real chicken and big. They are really popular.
