Where can I find Tofu dogs ?

I've recently become a vegetarian, and although Stop %26amp; Shop and Hanniford's has some great selections in their natural isles, I need to eat more than frozen burritos, pasta, and veggie burgers! But I've been looking for tofu dogs and I don't know where to start. Also if anyone could tell me where I can find tofu itself?



Any other tips, suggestions, easy recipes would be great!

Tofu is available at walmart ....I always find it in the produce section, next to bagged salads and fresh veggies

I have found the tofu hotdogs in the frozen section close to the milk and sour cream. The brand Morningstar is great. ITs in a green box/baggie. Ive found them at almost every major grocery store.

Best place to get tofu is asian markets, there is one near a friend of mine that sells tofu for 50垄 a block. As for tofu dogs you can usually find them near the veggies in most "mega-marts" or you can go to natural food stores or preferably co-ops (actual worker owned co-ops not just places with the name co-op) and a lot them will sell them. You can also go online and find them fairly easily. I also suggest eating veggies, sure fake meats are great every once and a while but eating a good amount of veggies and maybe some tofu can be really good if you prepare them right!Where can I find Tofu dogs ?
I don't know about tofu dogs, but SmartDog brand veggiedogs are pretty darn good! you can get them at Wal-Mart and Krogers in the healthfood/refridgerated section... you can also get tofu in the same place, or even in specialty stores (like Whole Foods, and Wild Oats) or in ethnic shops (Asian... mostly Japanese.) :D When I go to my local Japanese market, I usually grab some spicy vegetable curry sauce (the kind in a package that you boil in water on the stove) and some Japanese short-grain rice to go with my tofu *yum* but you could probably find that stuff in the ethnic section of your grocery store.
Most grocery stores have a section of tofu and veggie meats, along with things like wonton wrappers in the chilled deli near the lunch meats, cheese and such.



Also, if you're at a mall Hot Dog On a Stick had a great veggie dog.

There is some at walmart! They have a whole section of vegetarian foods in the produce section! Also there are Boca(?) Burgers in the frozen food sections. Try AllRecipes.com for some great dishes!
They sell Tofu Dogs at most large grocery stores- often in the produce section. Tofu is generally found in produce as well.
They have the Smart Dogs brand at like every grocery store I've been to, I know they have a lot of fake meats at Target
