Can this woman sue Burger King?

An old granny bursts into a burger king shop yelling at the store manager for serving her the wrong order. She ordered a burger specifying exactly what she didnt want because it could effect her health conditions. She yelled at the manager saying she could have died if she ate the burger that had onions. The manager tells her to lower her voice many times and warns her that he will call the police. She starts heading the door and tells him that she's a former lawyer and will sue that burger king store. Can she sue the store for serving her the wrong burger that could have dangered her health? She gave specific order how she wanted the burger before she purchased it.Can this woman sue Burger King?
You can sue anyone for anything, but will you win your case, that's the real question. However, regarding this case, unless she said something like, "I will die if I eat onions, so don't but them on the burger," she probably wouldn't win her case. And even if she did say that, it would be very difficult to prove. If people sued Burger King or McDonalds every time they gave someone the wrong order, we would all be suing.
If she specifically told them "No onions" and that she has a life-threatening allergy to them and if she still has the receipt (which should indicate that she requested "No onions") and if she has a doctor's note (or something in writing) saying that she can't have onions, then I believe she has a case and can sue.Can this woman sue Burger King?
Yes she can because she probaby was allergic to something in the ingredients that could have cause a allergic reaction and killed her therefor she has a case against them. either that or she probably was a diabetic which going to burger king is her choice but not a healthy selection which fatty foods alone cause heart attack and stroke and resault in death. but yes she has a case and could sue them and have them shut down.
she could sue but wont, her case will be thrown out. if she has no damages then she has no claim. she cant be awarded money because of what could of happened. The consumer also bears the responsibility of what they put in there mouth, the onion allergy is a lie anyways. nobody is allergic to onions, even if she was she should stay out of a burger king. any reasonable person with a deadly food allergy will always check "under the bun"Can this woman sue Burger King?
She probably could if she really wanted to. The lady is just probably very upset that her burger was made wrong. And i don't think the manager should threaten to call the police, just because she was a little loud about something she paid for. Old people bend the simple things out of shape. So perhaps she isn't really going to sue.
If someone has food allergies they should never eat at any restaurant. People who really have food allergies already know that.

Most people who throw the "sue" word out there, walk into the place with that in mind. She's more that likely tried this everywhere else, too. A lawyer would know better. All the restaurant will do is offer another sandwich.
If I had an onion allergy as if some people had peanut or shellfish allergy in which I will DIE if I ate them, I'd make it MY responsibility NOT to eat onions NO MATTER WHAT. I wouldn't be dumb enough for a fast food place to accidentally mess up and put onions on something I was going to eat without double or triple checking what's exactly on the burger before I ate it. Someone older would know that.
Did she advise them before hand if she said no onions (it would say on reciept)? She would have to have medical proof advising she is allergic to onions. Other than that she was bluffing. In her day that was scary...she should have gone modern and shot two in the roof about the cashier.
She has no case, that's ridiculous. They made a mistake, it happens all the time. I don't threaten to sue anyone at Jamba juice when they add bananas in my smoothie and I am allergic to bananas.
no
